About A2 paper

A2 is half of A1 and twice the size of A3, which makes it four A4 sheets. It is a popular size for posters, large drawings, wall charts and display boards.

Few home or office printers can print A2. Print shops and plotters can, or you can tile the file across four A4 sheets and join them. An A2 poster rolls into a standard tube, and frames for A2 are widely sold.

Its area is about 0.25 square metres, exactly one quarter of the A0 sheet that the whole series is built from.
