About A1 paper
A1 is half of A0, twice the size of A2 and eight times the size of A4. At about 0.5 square metres it is used for large posters and for technical and architectural drawings.
Printing A1 needs a wide-format printer or a print shop. If you only have an A4 printer you can tile the file across eight A4 sheets (two across, four down).
A1 sheets are usually posted or carried rolled. Standard A1 poster frames are sold in most countries that use the ISO sizes.
